A NEW CHAPTER: KAISER PERMANENTE NEVADA
In September 2025, Renown Health and Kaiser Permanente teamed up to bring value-based care to northern Nevada. The partnership was finalized in February 2026. Renown ' s insurance arm, Hometown Health, is now jointly owned by Renown and Kaiser Permanente, and was renamed Kaiser Permanente Nevada.
This new model brings together Renown’ s trusted local care network with Kaiser Permanente’ s nationally recognized approach to value-based care. Together, we will improve quality, expand access and make care more affordable for the communities we serve. By building upon Renown’ s deep roots in northern Nevada and Kaiser Permanente’ s national leadership in care and coverage, we are advancing a shared mission to deliver highquality, affordable care to more people across northern Nevada.
Hometown Health, Renown’ s insurance division, continued to focus on making healthcare easier to access, understand and use for nearly 75,000 members in 2025.
As a not-for-profit health plan, Hometown Health connects members to Renown’ s network of doctors, hospitals and care teams, helping them get the right care at the right time. Through its Personal Assistant healthcare navigator program, members receive support with appointments, benefits and billing questions, creating a more coordinated and supportive experience.
Senior Care Plus, Hometown Health’ s Medicare Advantage plan, earned a 4.5-star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and offers benefits including dental, vision, hearing, nationwide urgent care and worldwide emergency services.
Hometown Health also serves more than 1,100 employer groups and continues to expand partnerships that support community health.
