WINHALL
The town has 742 registered voters, and there are more second homes than primary residences.
Winhall is the gateway to Stratton Mountain Resort, the region’ s premier skiing destination. Bromley Mountain is just up the road, too.
The little village of Bondville on Route 30 anchors the commercial and civic life of the town and supplies visitors with the necessities.
Community life is centered on the wonderful Winhall Library, located in an old schoolhouse.
The recently renovated and reopened Community Arts Center is another social and cultural venue.
Stratton Mountain School has sent dozens of students to the Olympics, with a record of three gold medalists, one silver medalist, two bronze medalists, and several top-10 placements.
