Respiratory Theory I |
This course covers the principles and techniques of medical gas |
administration, humidity and aerosol therapy, lung expansion therapy, chest |

physiotherapy, and basic physical assessment. It also includes an overview of |
||
essential sciences relevant to respiratory care. |
This course will focus on the various diagnostic testing uesd in respiratory care, including arterial blood gas sampling and interpretation, pulmonary function testing, methacholine challenge, bronchoscopy, and an introduction to basic electrocardiogram interpretation. |
