This accelerated online MSN in Nursing Education equips BSN-prepared nurses with advanced skills in curriculum development, classroom and clinical teaching, and instructional leadership, guided by expert graduate nursing faculty.

Graduate Admissions Requirements:
• Bachelor Science in Nursing from a college or university accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Higher Education( CCNE), or Accrediting Commission for Education in Nursing( ACEN),( previously National League for Nursing Accreditation Commission( NLNAC), or Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation( CNEA).
• GPA of 3.0 on a 4-point scale for highest earned degree
• Practicing registered nurse with an RN license in Pennsylvania( or eligibility for licensure in Pennsylvania)
• Preferred equivalent of 12 months of RN clinical experience
• Successful completion of a baccalaureate level statistics course
• Successful completion of a baccalaureate level health assessment course
• Interview with members of the Graduate Nursing faculty
• Copy of professional license( s)
• One official sealed transcript from each college or university attended
• Current resume or Curriculum Vitae
• Completed application
• Two professional references
• Personal Goal Statement which includes: o Purpose for attending graduate school. o Discuss the responsibilities of the role that you are pursuing. o Why are you suited for the role that you are pursuing? o How will you incorporate adding graduate school into your current life? o What obstacles do you anticipate that you might need to address to be successful in this program?
Academic Standards / Grade Requirements: See NE Track MSN Program Guidebook. Students must earn at least a " B " in each course to graduate. The minimum major GPA is 3.0 and minimum cumulative GPA is 3.0.

Time to Completion: The MSN Program Nurse Educator Track is a 31-credit hour program. The MSN program must be completed within five calendar years.
