Academic Standards / Grade Requirements: Grades of“ C +” or higher are required in all nursing courses. For advancement each semester, a 2.67 cumulative GPA is required. Any student below the GPA of 2.67 at the end of the semester may not continue with nursing courses in the next semester.
A student may achieve less than a“ C +” in only one nursing course. Students who earn lower than a C + in a nursing course may repeat the course once and cannot progress in the sequential nursing clinical courses until they successfully complete the repeated course with a grade of“ C +” or higher. Students may only withdraw from each course once. Students may be part-time while repeating a course. The student will be placed on nursing academic probation after earning one nursing course failure. If a student earns less than a“ C +” in any two nursing courses, they will be dismissed from the program.
