The Community House
The Community House is a private not-for-profit organization which enriches the quality of life for people of all ages , providing exciting new learning experiences , recreation , counseling support and hundreds of volunteer opportunities throughout the area . The Senior Center at the Community House provides activities such as Bridge , book discussions , exercise classes , retired men ’ s roundtable and group trips .
The Youth Center is operated by the Community House . It offers activities and drop in services to High School and Middle School Students . The Youth Center is located at 8th and Madison Streets in Hinsdale .

Hinsdale Historical Society
The Hinsdale Historical Society bridges the past , present , and future by engaging the community with its architecture and history . The Society collects and preserves items for research and exhibition , maintains three historic properties , offers educational programs , and collaborates to instill pride in Hinsdale ’ s heritage .
• The Hinsdale History Museum ( 15 S Clay Street ) depicts Victorian life of a middle-class family . FREE admission ; donations appreciated .
• Immanuel Hall ( 302 S Grant Street ) houses the local history archives .
• R . Harold Zook Home & Studio , located in KLM Park , has a unique architectural style that can be enjoyed in this historic park setting .
