From Vice President of Diversity , Inclusion , Social Impact
About the Airports Authority
Dear Colleagues ,
Greetings and welcome to the latest edition of our Soaring Together newsletter . We trust this message finds you thriving as we embrace the Spring season .
In this issue , we ' re excited to provide you with a comprehensive overview of our team ' s remarkable achievements over the past quarter . We began the year by shining a spotlight on the critical issue of human trafficking , raising awareness across our organization .
Throughout February , in celebration of Black History Month , our focus was on honoring the contributions of African Americans to the arts . We showcased engaging videos featuring both our employees and passengers sharing their thoughts on which black music or performing artist they would choose to see on a flight , along with the reasons behind their selections . Additionally , we organized an exclusive tour of the National Smithsonian African American Museum for our friends and family , which proved to be immensely popular .
Continuing the momentum into March , we ' re proudly celebrating Women ' s History Month . Our initiative includes the launch of the Soaring Together Speaker Series , spotlighting accomplished women in the aviation industry . These distinguished speakers will share insights into their career journeys , life experiences , and offer valuable advice to inspire and empower us all .
As you can see , the Airports Authority remains steadfast in its commitment to fostering a more inclusive and engaging work environment . However , we recognize that achieving our goals requires collective effort . We urge you to stay connected with us , share your ideas , and actively participate in our ongoing initiatives .
Together , let ' s continue soaring towards a brighter , more inclusive future . Warm regards ,
