When I look around Richfield , I feel so energized !
Within our seven square miles you will find a community brimming with life . Our goal is to create a community where everyone can thrive , and I have so much optimism for the future of Richfield .
This coming year will see the completion of the long-awaited splashpad , the continuation of the Wood Lake Nature Center building project and additional work on sustainability and our Climate Action
Plan .
Our city will also continue to focus on the priorities that were identified by the community during our strategic planning process in 2022 . These priorities include operational excellence , community development , sustainable infrastructure , a high-quality workforce and equity and inclusion .
Lively , engaging community events will give us opportunities to celebrate our city , its people and accomplishments . Check out the list on page 16 to see what catches your attention and mark your calendar accordingly – I ’ d love to see you there !
I encourage you to get involved and make your mark on our community . Whether in service to your neighbors , participating in local government , frequenting local restaurants and businesses or using our parks and bike paths , Richfield is stronger when we work and play together .
