Q3 has come and gone , and our marketing team has brought together another update on several key performance metrics for the quarter . We continue to be exceedingly happy with the progress we have seen with the new website since its launch back in January , especially in light of the nationwide slowdown in the short-term rental market we have experienced in 2024 . Beyond the website , we are particularly pleased with the results of our Q3 social media and paid advertising efforts — all of which you ’ ll see below .
Performance Metrics Natural Retreats experienced a 60 % increase in total website users and a 55 % increase in new users in Q3 , with engaged sessions up by 29 %. The growth in traffic is attributed to the continued optimization of paid advertising campaigns , leading to a 544 % rise in paid social traffic and an 86 % increase in display advertising . On the social media front , the total audience grew by 10 % to 47,983 , while social impressions reached 7,444,470 , marking a 4 % increase from the previous quarter . Additionally , our email marketing efforts have garnered an impressive growth of 4,901 new subscribers in the past quarter . Collectively , they enhance our ability to get our homes and the destinations we are a part of in front of potential guests .
The Takeaway The increase in traffic volume over the past quarter is fantastic to see , given the dip in the vacation rental market we have seen across the U . S . in Q3 and 2024 as a whole . Some notable wins for our marketing efforts include an increase in organic search impressions which are up 3 % compared to last quarter , and direct traffic new users up 51 % compared to last quarter . This , paired with the increase in social and email marketing stats noted above , shows that our website and marketing efforts are performing and resonating with potential guests .
