In fiscal year 2024 , the advanced heart failure team participated in 45 active trials and 59 peer-reviewed publications . The advanced heart failure team at Baylor Dallas was also a top ten enroller in seven studies , received one grant and had 26 podium presentations .
Advanced heart failure and transplant cardiologist , Robert Gottlieb , MD , PhD , FACC , FIDSA , continues to participate in COVID-19 research , and his findings have been published in the New England Journal of Medicine .
