Last few weeks we had horrendous occupancy, no contractors, more hotels coming, or expansion. So you have a challenge ahead of you, promote Fernie
Focus on creation of tourism assets to broaden opportunities for visitors to enjoy their time here.
Be a leader in developiing a coalition for Tourism. The fragmentation of local govt is very frustrating.

Developing / promoting atttractions that are not outdoor adventure based in order to level-load the visitor volumes throught the year. Namely a large conferance centre could attract thousands of people in the rainy spring and fall seasons. This allow for growth without adding additional pressure to the outdoor adventure assets.
