Wolf Industries, founded in 2008, has a facility in Battle Ground that can build a custom modular tiny home in just 12 days. They handle permitting, construction, site prep, installation, any porch installation and all aspects of preparation before handing off the keys to their customers.
“ I try and provide a service and a product and then at the end of the day, you kind of look back and say, that’ s quite a path we’ ve traveled, putting 400- plus people in homes in the last couple years.”
Wolf Industries founder and owner Travis Huegel( left) said he sees his work as part of a larger effort to help solve the housing crisis.
“ I enjoy it. I come down to work every day, no traffic. I drive 20 minutes here and 20 minutes home. Most construction jobs, you travel to the work. I don’ t have to travel. The work comes to me.”
Rory Kangas( right), a plumber for Wolf Industries, measures out for fire sprinkler installation. He has worked at Wolf Industries for seven months, and said that building homes in a factory cuts down on the travel required to build homes on site.
