The Program
Camp in 2024 will be comprised of eight one-week sessions from June 3 through July 26 . Camp will be from 9 a . m . to 3:30 p . m . daily , Monday through Friday ( campers may arrive at 8:30 a . m .).
Important — We will have camp on July 4 ( Independence Day ).
Independent Presbyterian Church Day Camp offers boys and girls ages 5 to 11 both an outdoor camping experience and a well-planned program . The purpose of the camp is to serve campers in the Savannah community with a one-of-a-kind camp experience that meets the needs of the whole child in a loving and compassionate , yet challenging , environment and present a clear , Biblical gospel . There will be a limited enrollment of approx . 100 campers per session : a camper to staff ratio of 5 to 1 . This excellent ratio and the quality of the staff make IPC Day Camp a wonderful experience for your child .
The campers will be divided into age groups , and they will have scheduled , supervised activities all day . Each group will be led by a staff leader who will be with them for the whole week . The activities will be directed by college , post-college or adult staff who also develop great relationships with the campers as the week progresses .
