What Is Point Pleasant ?
Point Pleasant is a nine-acre wooded retreat located on the marsh on Talahi Island near the Turner ' s Creek Bridge in Savannah , Georgia . The property was given to the Independent Presbyterian Church in 1949 for the purpose of a youth camp and it has been used for that purpose in some way to this day . It is owned and operated by the IPC Point Pleasant Corporation . Some of the facilities and features of the Point Pleasant property include :
