Building homes for over 40 years , Richard Browdy has significantly contributed to the landscape of Northeast Florida . A consensus builder , true gentleman , and a staunch advocate for the home building industry , he has devoted time , resources and expertise to the construction industry through his dedication to the development of codes and standards . He has served with distinction on the Florida Building Commission for 30 years , being appointed by five Governors and serving as Chair from 2011 to 2017 . ( Elected to Hall in 2018 )
