As an ardent housing advocate, astute lobbyist, and accomplished governmental affairs professional during a 33-year career, Douglas P.“ Doug” Buck was the driving force behind many of the Florida Home Builders Association’ s most significant legislative and regulatory victories, all of which directly contributed to the success of builders and their associates, as well as homeowners and consumers. He began his 25-year tenure with FHBA as a governmental affairs specialist and served as Governmental Affairs Director for nine years prior to his retirement in December, 2019.( Elected to Hall in 2021)
