This bill makes changes to the regulation of numerous professions . With respect to contracting , the bill raises maximum payouts from the recovery fund . With this bill , the maximum payout for a claim against a Division I contractor increased from $ 50,000 to $ 100,000 and for a claim against a Division II contractor from $ 15,000 to $ 30,000 . The total aggregate cap against a single Division I licensee is now $ 2 million while the aggregated cap against a Division II licenses is $ 600,000 .
