Rental Car Contracts
The Airports Authority continued to implement contract requirements for rental car operators at Reagan National and Dulles International airports to reduce fuel use and encourage the electrifi cation of rental car fl eets. Tenants at both airports can apply through the construction permitting process to install EV charging infrastructure at their facilities to support their own EV goals and emissions roadmaps.

Every rental car provider at both airports exceeded the targets for availability of green vehicles in 2024.
