When : February 8 , 2025 Where : Lucy Cuddy Hall , University of Alaska , Anchorage Campus
Culinary Teams of 2-5 students will create a 3-course menu that has to be prepared in one hour . They have zero access to electricity , no running water . They must create 2 matching dishes for each course that are accompanied by a comprehensive recipe / procedure book .

February brings to the forefront the spirit of competition and raising the bar for excellence with the advent of the Alaska ProStart Invitational ( AKPSI25 )! Alaska ProStart is excited to hold their annual competition at Lucy Cuddy Hall on the University of Alaska , Anchorage campus . Each year ProStart schools from around the great state of Alaska send teams of high school students to compete for scholarships , local pride and the privilege of representing our state as Alaska ’ s Elite on the national platform in Baltimore , Maryland .
Management
Students create a comprehensive business plan which they defend in a series of rounds . They must create a visual set of marketing plans , menu , SWOT analysis and paint a clear picture of their proposed business .
