Enhance and update the Town ' s traffic mitigation plans for roadways not meeting the Town ' s level of service standards ; and employ strategies to reduce the number of accidents and bicycle / pedestrian / vehicle conflicts . The Town completed construction of the new roundabout at A1A and Jupiter Beach Road to help mitigate traffic flow along A1A . The Town also completed construction on a pair of crosswalks at area schools . Improvements at an additional 10 crosswalks will be completed in 2025 . See page 15 for more information on the crosswalks .
The Town has also designed improvements to the Toney Penna and Bush Road intersection , which will provide a left-turn lane on Bush Road and a lane that will allow eastbound traffic to bypass traffic looking to turn onto Bush Road .
The design of intersection improvements at Jupiter Park Drive and Central Boulevard has also been completed . Contracts for the project management and construction will go before Town Council in the second quarter of 2025 , and the project is anticipated to be completed in early 2026 .
The Town is also working with the Florida Department of Transportation ( FDOT ) to fund , study , design , and construct intersection and roadway improvements on Indiantown Road from Central Boulevard to Maplewood Drive .
The Jupiter Police Department has also implemented a comprehensive education and training program focused on electric bicycles , emphasizing safety for riders , pedestrians , and fellow motorists .
