IL STATE RULE 260.95 Junior classes are open to boys and girls who are eight ( 8 ) years of age and not yet 21 years of age on or before September 1 of the year previous to the Fair . All animals shown in junior classes must be the property of the boys and girls showing them . If the same animals are shown in both the open classes and junior classes , they shall be shown under the same exhibitor ’ s name .

1 . ANIMALS WILL BE RELEASED AFTER 6:30 PM ON SATURDAY . NO EXCEPTIONS ! 2 . Entries close July 14 . 3 . Swine entries will be weighed from 4 to 8 pm on Monday . 4 . Exhibitors will be limited to two ( 2 ) premiums in each class . 5 . Pen size is 6 ’ x 6 ’. No bedding will be furnished ; however , pens must be bedded with wood shavings . Exhibitors will be assigned pens . Premium money may be withheld if changes are made without the approval of the Superintendent . 6 . The Superintendents have the right to limit the number of pens purchased and may require animals to share a pen when necessary . 7 . All hogs are recommended to weigh between 220 and 290 pounds . 8 . If entering in a pair class , both animals must be owned by the same exhibitor . 9 . THIS IS A NON-TERMINAL SHOW ! A MARKET WILL NOT BE PROVIDED FOR THE HOGS . 10 . A barrow or gilt shown in a purebred class can not be shown in crossbred classes . However , the purebred animal can be shown in the pair classes . 11 . Registration papers for Purebred animals must be on grounds at all times . 12 . All exhibitors wishing to sell in the Jr . Livestock Auction on Saturday must exhibit in the Swine Show and sign up by the end of the Junior Open Show on Wednesday to be eligible . 13 . The Stephenson County Pork Producers Association will donate an additional premium for the following classes : $ 50

Champion Single Barrow , $ 25 Champion Pen of Barrows , Single Market Gilt , and Pair of Market Gilts . 14 . We reserve the right to divide the classes by weight or by color .
