SECTION 2 H3110 - SPECIAL EVENT - LEAD CLASS
WEDNESDAY , JULY 26 , 2023 FOLLING WETHER SHOW PREMIUMS : $ 20-15-11-8 CHAMPION LEAD OVERALL : $ 25 RESERVE CHAMPION LEAD OVERALL : $ 15
1 . Entry fee is $ 4 . Same deadline as Rule # 2 .
2 . The objective of this event is to present a class of sheep in the most attractive manner and to give spectators an opportunity to view a class of beauty with the best of the Sheep Industry .
3 . Competition is open to anyone between age of 8 and 21 . The entrant will be judged on mode of dress selected , which is appropriate , attractive , and lend elegance to the class . Garment must be made of wool or wool blend .
4 . Sheep must be registered , fitted , and have been conditioned and trained to show with a halter .
5 . Entries to be judged according to the following score card : 50 points - Contestant / Contestant Costume 30 points - Appearance of animal ( no rams ) 20 points - Control and Presentation .
6 . Each contestant is required to submit a resume to
Superintendents prior to the show . 7 . Entry Class : class will be divided into two ( 2 ) classes .

No entry fee An award will be given to the Champion in each age division : H3130 - Showmanship - Ages 8-11 H3131 - Showmanship - Ages 12-14 H3132 - Showmanship - Ages 15-20
JUNIOR WETHER LAMB SHOW
WEDNESDAY , JULY 26 , 2023 - FOLLOWS BREEDING SHOW PREMIUMS : $ 20-15-11-8
1 . Exhibitors will be limited to two ( 2 ) animals in each breed and only two ( 2 ) separate breeds .
2 . Wether Lambs will not be weighed , but should show with weight consistent with current market preference .
3 . Wether Lamb weigh-in will be on Tuesday evening or Wednesday , See Rule # 12 in Open Sheep Rules regarding weight in . If not weighed , you will not be able to sell in the Jr . Livestock Auction on Saturday morning .
4 . Market Lambs will be completely slick-sheared within five ( 5 ) days of opening day of the Fair and cannot be shown wet . 5 . Show is open to wethers only . ( NO EWES !) 6 . All wether lambs must have feed and water at all times . Any inhumane treatment of animals such as slapping , shots , shocks , use of alcohol , curry combs , etc . will not be allowed . If found doing these acts , the exhibitor will be asked to leave the grounds and forfeit all premiums . THIS WILL BE ENFORCED .
