The aim of Bert ’ s investigation was to prove if warming lemons prior to juicing them gave you more lemon juice . He found that cold lemons did not produce as much juice as warmer lemons . Bert was surprised that though microwaved lemons were easier to squeeze , lemons at room temperature produced more juice .

Benjamin wanted to see if he could do anything to improve the suspension of a hardtail bike when landing jumps . He built a jump and by adjusting the rear tyre pressure , and using an accelerometer he measured the landing force . Benjamin concluded a hardtail bike with a rear tyre pressure of 10 PSI was the closest useful tyre pressure to a dual suspension bike when landing jumps .

Abelia is concerned about the waste left by an increased use of surgical masks , and investigated if yeast was a biodegradable medium in decomposing surgical masks . She examined the breakdown in each layer and concluded that though the yeast decomposed parts of the masks , further research on a wider scale is needed to see if this is an effective solution .
