Our Expenses
While our grantmaking is a measure of newly committed conservation impact , our expenditures measure the funds distributed in any given fiscal year . During 2023 , we spent $ 34.1M in total , primarily funding project disbursements and conservation operations : 92 % of our expenses were programmatic , including 83 % to partners and 9 % for internal conservation operations . We proudly control other costs to uphold our commitment to efficiency .
