BEFORE
Come tour a beautiful historic home centrally located in downtown Lexington . The original part of the home was built in 1892 , which features stunning crown molding , spacious 10 ’ ceilings , & preserved wood flooring . Our main goal with the remodel was to keep the historic character of the existing house while updating the home with modern conveniences and bringing the outside in with stunning garden views . The freshly featured remodeled sections of the house are the kitchen and sunroom .
The new sunroom features wood windows to complement the existing windows in the house . The window casing and baseboard were custom milled to match the original house . Matching new hardwood floors were installed to make a seamless feel throughout the house . An additional HVAC unit was added to make the new living space feel comfortable year-round .
The new kitchen space combines both the existing small kitchen and living room into one large kitchen area . The cabinetry is hand crafted and custom made locally in Kentucky . With two Sinks , two refrigerators , large island , and ample food prep space this kitchen has transformed into a chefs dream .
