We proudly provide you with our fiscal year 2022 outcomes for Baylor Scott & White Heart and Vascular Hospital – Dallas and Fort Worth . Since we opened the first dedicated heart and vascular hospital in North Texas at our current Dallas location , we have provided our annual outcomes , including quality indicators , patient satisfaction and volumes .
This edition of our annual outcomes book includes program overviews , information about our new outpatient services featuring individualized patient navigation , and data about our Dallas and Fort Worth campuses . On our Dallas campus , we collaborate closely with Baylor University Medical Center and in Fort Worth with Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center – Fort Worth .
We celebrate our 20th anniversary this calendar year for serving the cardiovascular needs of our region , as well as those who have traveled from afar to receive care from our nationally-recognized medical staff of specialists and the entire dedicated team . It was fitting that this year , our 20th year , we announced an expansion to Waxahachie to help provide services closer to home for those in need of heart and vascular care .
In the fall of 2021 , we began operating a cath lab through a collaborative arrangement with Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Waxahachie . We began the oversight and management of cardiac non-invasive services and the cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation programs . We also broke ground on a new heart and vascular hospital on the Waxahachie campus . We anticipate opening it within the new medical office building in spring 2023 .
We were honored to receive many awards and recognitions during the fiscal year . They result from the diligence and dedication of many specialties with a shared mission .

• The fourth consecutive Magnet Recognition Program ® award after a rigorous survey and
documents review
• Grade A from The Leapfrog Group in Spring 2022 for the 14th consecutive reporting period
• Healthgrades Patient Safety Excellence Award™ and Coronary Intervention Excellence Award™
• Press Ganey ® Guardian of Excellence Award for patient satisfaction
• U . S . News & World Report recognition as High Performing in Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm , Heart
Failure and Heart Attack . For the second time , they also recognized us as High Performing in TAVR .

Elsewhere in these pages are additional awards , accolades and many other milestones achieved throughout the months .
Our Dallas and Fort Worth campuses highlight the commitment to advancing cardiovascular care through research and clinical trials . Through Baylor Scott & White Research Institute and Soltero Cardiovascular Research Center , patients have experienced the opportunity to be at the forefront of research into new technology and treatment options . We included listings of this fiscal year ’ s clinical trials . Research and clinical trials are hallmarks of our innovative approach to cardiovascular care .
As you will read , the graduate medical education programs for all areas of cardiovascular care remain strong . We appreciate the opportunity to work with young careerists who will shape the future of cardiovascular care . We support students from multiple professions . Also , as a part of our commitment to growing professionals in the healthcare field , we collaborate with three high schools to provide mentoring and education regarding numerous career opportunities in healthcare .
