Warmer Days are coming and soon the golf course will be bustling with activity . Jake Valentino , Superintendent , and crew have worked tirelessly to get our course in tip top shape . You will see fewer trees !
As we begin the golf season it is important that all golfers check-in at the pro shop prior to play . This allows the Club to accurately keep track of rounds played . It also allows us to convey course conditions as well as any maintenance going on . Lastly , checking in is important in case of emergencies . We ask that all golfers adhere to our Club ’ s Dress Code which is posted in the pro shop .
The following is a look at what ’ s happening on the course .
LADIES : The Ladies Opening Day is scheduled for Saturday , April 23 . This will be an 18 hole event followed by a lunch meeting .
SENIORS : The Senior Interclub schedule is being put together with matches ( Home and Away ) scheduled with Lakeview , Spotswood , Ironwood , Orchard Creek and others TBA . Men of age , 50 +, are invited to join this group .
JUNIORS : Clinics will be scheduled in the Spring beginning March 29th for children ages 6-11 years and on April 1st for those 12 years and up . Scheduled days are Tuesdays at 5:30pm for ages 6-11 years and Fridays at 4pm for ages 12 and up . A VSGA Junior One Day tournament will be held at LGCC on Saturday , April 2nd . Register for this event on VSGA website .
MEN ’ S EVENTS : The Men ’ s Association will resume play on March 31st . This is a fun
