1 . IL STATE RULE 260.95 Junior classes are open to boys and girls who are eight ( 8 ) years of age and not yet 21 years of age on or before September 1 of the year previous to the Fair . All entries shown in junior classes must be the property of the boys and girls showing them .
2 . Entry fee for this department has been sponsored by the Carol Fluegel Family and will not be charged when registering for classes in 2022 . 3 . All entries in this department must comply with the Home Economics Rules and Regulations 4 . Items must not have been previously displayed in this department , with the exception to the Hobby Division . Collections in this division must be of different display than the previous year . 5 . Check-in for non-perishable items ONLY is Monday , July 25 , from 4 to 6 pm . 6 . Baked products must be made from scratch and exhibited in clear , plastic Zip-lock bags . Exhibitor tags should be attached to the paper plate for vegetables , baked goods and culinary items . ALL BAKED GOOD ITEMS IN THIS DEPARTMENT MUST BE BROUGHT ON Tuesday , July 26 from 7 to 10 am !
7 . A portion of all baked goods will be used in the Junior Cake Walk on Tuesday , July 26 at 7 pm .*
