SILENT AUCTION : GIVERGY ONLINE BIDDING
• As in previous years , Givergy is our Silent Auction bidding software provider .
• The Silent Auction will open at 12 noon on Thursday , May 19 .
• Bidding at the event will be available through your mobile phone or tablets .
• Register your credit card before May 27 to help us streamline and shorten the check-out process ! It ’ s quick and easy :
1 . Browse the auction list and the first time you click Place Bid , you will be asked to Register .
2 . Fill in the required information including your email and phone number , which we will use to notify you about your bids .
3 . Enter your credit card information . You will not be charged at this time . You can change your credit card details until 10:00 am on May 27 . ( All card processing is done via a PCI Level 1 certified provider . No card data is ever stored on Givergy servers or transmitted through their infrastructure . Givergy is PCI SAQ-A certified ).
4 . Confirm your bid .
5 . That ’ s it ! Once the auction closes your card will be automatically charged and you can proceed to the check out table to pick up your items .
• Don ’ t forget to take advantage of the Max Bid feature ! After you place your standard bid , on the confirmation screen , click on Place Max Bid . It allows you to set a maximum bid for the highest amount you are willing to pay and the system will bid for you up to the amount you specify so that you don ’ t have to keep monitoring the item to bid . Once someone bids over your maximum bid then you will be notified .
