Congratulations to these winners from the June MGA event ( 2 best balls , 2 holes on each green ). First place gross ( at 132 ) - the team of Reggie Alford , Dan Girata , Don Jenkins and Lance Kandel . First place net ( at 116 ) -the team of Dave Collyer , Matt Drennan Jr , Helge Duemmel , and Jerry Moore .
The 2-man match play is continuing to move forward throughout the early summer . Congratulations to Bill Glynn / Paul Rouleau for advancing to the championship match . They recently defeated Dave Conway / Dan Kiehl 4 / 3 in the semi ’ s ). They will now face Dave Nielson / Ben Nolan in the final . Larry Dunn / Corey Evans won the consolation bracket by defeating Mike Campbell / Bill Thom in 19 holes .
We would like to welcome the newest MGA members : Lance Kandel , Dustin Nichols , Matt Peterson , Keegan Schall , and Roger Self . Our next MGA event is coming up on August 20 ( the 3-2-1 . 4-man teams . Will take the 3 best balls on par 3 ’ s . Two best balls on par 4 ’ s , and one best ball on par 5 ’ s .).
On a final note , we would like to recognize our MGA VP Rick Leonard . Rick will be moving back to Whipanny , New Jersey in August . Since Rick joined the club in 2015 , he has served the MGA in a variety of roles : Tournament chair , vice president on two occasions , and was the president in waiting at one time . Rick has been a dedicated servant to the organization in too many ways to count . Thank you for your service , dedication and work ethic for the betterment of the club and the MGA . Rick you will be profoundly missed .
