MR . JOHAN BECERRA-HERNANDEZ of San Juan , Puerto Rico registered his first Great Dane in 1980 . By 1986 , he started breeding Neapolitan Mastiffs . The Venezuelan Kennel Club awarded him with his first medal as breeder of the year . He worked as handler with several breeds including Basset Hounds . By 1992 he bred his first Basset Hound litter . He has won more than 80 all breed Bests in Shows , as well as specialties , group firsts , and placements . He also breeds and shows Norwich Terriers . Mr . Becerra-Hernandez is a veterinarian and approved to judge all breeds . He had judged in North and South America , Europe , Asia , Africa , and Oceania . This will be his second Westminster judging assignment .
MR . MICHAEL FAULKNER of Center Cross , Virginia grew up in the sport of purebred dogs , active in Junior Showmanship and assisting his parents with their kennel and breeding program . In the late 1960s , he acquired his first Golden Retriever . As a professional handler , he has handled numerous group winners and best in show winners in all seven groups . He has owned , bred , or exhibited thirteen multiple best in show-winning Golden Retrievers , finished more than 250 Golden Retriever champions and owned and bred champion Field Spaniels , Pointers , English Springer Spaniels , and Pugs .
Mr . Faulkner retired as a professional handler in 1995 and embarked on his judging career . He continues to be an active member of the Golden Retriever Club of America . He is approved to judge Best in Show , the Sporting and Herding groups as well as multiple hound , toy , terrier , and working breeds . This is his seventh Westminster judging assignment .
RANDY GARREN of Apex , North Carolina used his lawn mowing money at the age of 12 to purchase his first dog , a toy poodle . From that moment on , his passion for the sport and purebred dogs has never waned . He has bred over 60 champions , and as a professional handler , he and his partner finished over 1,000 champions . Their top winners were two standard poodles , one was the top winning Non-Sporting dog in history , and the other was Ch . Whisperwind On A Carousel , Best In Show Westminster 1991 . Mr . Garren was co-breeder of the 2009 Westminster Non-Sporting Group winner . He began judging in 2000 and is approved for Hound , Terrier , Toy and Non-Sporting groups . This is his fifth Westminster assignment .
MS . EVALYN GREGORY of Louisville , Kentucky is a second-generation dog person that followed in her father ’ s footsteps as professional dog handler turned judge . She debuted as a six-year-old handler of Brussels Griffons and Boxers , leading to success in junior showmanship and all-breed handling . Ms . Gregory was awarded her first of many Bests in Show at age 10 . At Westminster , she handled the 1996 Toy Group II Brussels Griffon and won the 2009 Toy Group with Lincoln , another Brussels Griffon co-owned with her mother . Lincoln remains the all-time top smooth-coated Brussels Griffon . She judges the Toy and Non-Sporting groups , multiple Sporting , Hound , Working , and Terrier breeds , Junior Showmanship , and Best in Show . This is her second Westminster judging assignment .
MR . SEI-ICHIRO ISHIMARU of Tokyo , Japan was raised with dogs . In 1993 , he became involved with Italian Greyhounds and fell in love with the breed . In 1994 , Mr . Ishimaru and his parents co-founded Flash Shower Italian Greyhounds . He has bred , owned and handled multiple Italian Greyhounds to several championships and all breed Best in Show wins , Including FCI / JKC CH Flash Shower JP Miss Perfect who had more than 20 Bests in Show . Mr . Ishimaru was approved to judge in 2007 . He judges all breeds and Best in Show . He has judged in Japan , USA , Finland , Poland , Colombia , France , Italy , Russia , Peru , Lithuania , Gibraltar , New Zealand , and Australia . This is his first judging assignment at Westminster .
