LakeTalk Cover Photo Contest The annual LakeTalk cover photo contest is here ! Photo entries are due by December 31 . There is only one winner of the contest , but several photos submitted each year are featured throughout future LakeTalk issues . Learn more on page 43 .
Photography on Common Property Please be advised , attendees / participants at any Lake Linganore Association event or common area , may be asked to show their Membership ID or be photographed / video recorded . Photographs / videos taken may appear on the LLA website , in LakeTalk , on the Association ' s social media platforms , or in other LLA publications .
Yard Waste Yard Waste collection is on Wednesdays until December 8 . Please place yard waste items curbside by 6:30 am the day of pickup .
Clean Up Recycling and Trash Enjoy yourself , but please clean up after using an amenity . Dispose of all waste in a provided receptacle and take home any recyclable items and place them in your recycle bin . In addition , please place recycling and trash items in covered bins . Doing so prevents items from blowing onto neighboring properties and throughout the community on windy days . Thank you for helping preserve our community .
Pet Waste Please remember to clean up after your pets . There are over 50 pet waste stations throughout the villages within LLA to conveniently dispose pet waste .

Private Property While the Lake Linganore community is vast , it is essential to remember it is bordered by private property . Please be mindful as you traverse the common areas ( i . e ., trails ), to not trespass on to private property . To ensure you are not trespassing , LLA encourages Members to review Frederick County Geographic Information System ( GIS ) for the most up to date mapping .
Golf Carts in Lake Linganore Golf carts can be a great asset to the community by lessening parking and traffic issues in common areas . Golf cart owners are asked to know and understand the areas where golf carts are allowed and prohibited . Please remember the former golf course in West Winds is private property , and motorized vehicles , including golf carts , are prohibited on the land .
Additionally , LLA asks golf cart owners to be courteous to other members using the trails and common areas . Golf cart accessible trails are notated on the digital trail map on lakelinganore . org / amenities on trail pins , descriptions , and in the drop-down menu .
