Nature reflects our nature
described in words , a thirst from which nothing can escape ; a black hole inside a minuscule human universe whose boundaries are limitless .
This thirst was the reason why humans gained control over other species way stronger and way faster than them . This thirst gave birth to two characteristic properties of human beings : corruption and distinction . The latter introduced us to the three elementary particles of the human universe : I , My , and Other . The moment we recognized something as I and My , corruption began . “ I and My ” went on to become the first and the last priority of us human beings . ‘ I ’ needed to be well-fed , even if it ’ s at the cost of Other ’ s starvation . ‘ My ’ needed to be profitable , even if it ’ s at the cost of other ’ s unprecedented loss . These two qualities helped us rule and dominate the planet for thousands of years . We killed innocent animals not only because we liked the taste of their corpses but also because they made a good collection of shoes and bags . We chopped trees not only because we needed the warmth of firewood but also because they made good decorations for our homes .
We took advantage of all that nature had to offer . We perfected and comforted ourselves to the greatest extents possible but the thirst was only increasing . The more we quenched it , the greater it grew . This gave rise to a terrible flaw in humans . The flaw that swept almost all of the mighty human race from the planet ; ignorance .
We ignored the fact that we don ’ t only rule the planet , we are the planet . We are the bread , we are the chicken , we are the water and we are the air . What we are is only an accumulation of the planet . A newborn human develops into an adult-only by consumption of food , air , and water which are basically the components of planet earth . The chicken we eat is excreted in the form of solid waste but the very essence of life in that chicken gets absorbed by the body system and the chicken gets modified into a human . Thus a human who eats chicken is no different from a chicken itself because both of their lives have accumulated into one now . This example proves that humans are indeed the modified version of the planet itself . This sense of realization took very long to develop in all of the human beings but until then , it was too late .
We had seriously imbalanced the ecosystem . Most of the land and water were colonized by humans and the plants and animals were restricted to merely 1 % of the area on earth by the year 2978 AD . Nature had started taking its revenge and humans had no other option but to flee the hostile home planet . I come from a small country called Nepal . It was said to be very beautiful in the past . The ugly rocky mountains were said to be snow-capped once . The stinking dry rivers were said to be fast flowing once . The barren , naked hills were said to be green top once .
I wish our predecessors had corrected their faults in time . It ’ s not that nature didn ’ t warn us . The infamous 2020 virus outbreak , the great 2150 drought , etc were some examples of timely warnings issued by mother nature to us but our predecessors were too ignorant and careless for our well being . They should have carefully utilized the available natural resources . Had they treated nature with a sense of belongingness and its creatures with a sense of harmony , humans need not flee their own home planet with dread . Had they balanced their demands , mother nature need not supply out of its capacity .
But it ’ s useless to lament the past , our search for a better tomorrow is still going on . All of my 6 co-workers on this spacecraft are dead with hunger . I shall join them soon too . But this message is our only last chance . It has a 99.99 % chance that it would lead to nowhere , with a small chance of leading to any intelligent form of alien life . We just want you to know that a race named “ humans ” existed in the vast womb of the universe and we unknowingly messed up big time . There , however , is a minuscule probability that the wormhole might lead the message into the past of human history . If that happens , please save your planet on time . We future generations are paying for your doings .
