On the day before the wedding I was so nervous, and Dave was excited. We were both incredibly happy to see two years of planning finally coming together. Excitement was the prominent emotion on our big day, we both were floating around in euphoria. Along with my excitement was of course nerves, I am not a public speaker and the thing that weighed on me all day was having to say my vows in front of 85 people. On the day after, exhaustion is what you feel. You are also on cloud nine because you can’t believe you just married your person. Your brain has had a bit of a chance to process the weight of the situation and it’s truly surreal. I don’t recall feeling overly stressed at any point. Honestly, what I worried about most was the kids; how they were feeling, wondering if they were stressed. At the time of our wedding our youngest was 15 months. That was a challenge! We were very lucky to have family to watch over the girls all day. There are so many favorite moments looking back on our wedding day. Getting to marry your best friend in front of people you love is incredible. • www.GeorgianBayWedding.com 115
