ABOUT THE MANUAL
The purpose of this manual is to provide guidance for our Housekeeping Crews and
Teams. If you have a question, this is a great place to find the answer. The manual also
serves as a resource for the proper and required Policies and Procedures for hired
and trained 360 Blue contracted housekeepers. Perhaps most importantly, it helps
our teams focus on accountability.
THIS MANUAL WILL
1. Provide specific departmental policies and procedures
2. Outline department Best Practices
3. Offer resources to assist with learning company standards
ON-THE-JOB TRAINING
1. All Housekeeping Crews/Teams are required to review and understand the content
of this manual
2. All Housekeeping Crews/Teams will receive thorough departmental new-hire and
ongoing training
3. Designated company facilitators and trainers will provide general guidance,
ongoing training and performance evaluations
CONTINUOUS AND INCUMBENT HOUSEKEEPING TRAINING
1. As a part of continuous training, Inspectors and Property Managers will provide
feedback
2. Inspectors and Property Managers will conduct more thorough inspections
3. Home and Unit Inspections will continue to be tracked via Breezeway
4. Any “failing trends” will be treated initially as an opportunity to retrain the
Cleaning Crews/Teams
5. If the failing trends do not improve, the Cleaning Crew/Team will be counseled and
possibly “unassigned” homes/units and/or possibly terminated
6. Housekeeping leadership will provide annual feedback to discuss performance and
areas of improvement
7. Breezeway will also be used to identify areas of exceptional performance and
opportunities to retrain crews/teams
