Lego sets
The first original Lego sets were Town , Castle , and Space . But after Lego was becoming more and more popular , they started making Pirate and Ninjago sets . Lego also has sets based on movies that include DC Super Heroes , Marvel , Batman , Harry Potter , Stranger Things , Lego movie sets , and Star Wars . If a new movie or a sequel comes out , Lego will usually make a new set to match that . Every year , Lego makes at least one new Lego set . Over the years , Lego made sets especially for older children and adults , Lego makes Mindstorm sets . Mindstorm sets have motors so you can make your Lego set move . Lego also makes Technic sets which allow device control .
The minifig
In 1974 , Lego started to include Minifigs ( Minifigures ) in almost every Lego set . Though in 2012 , Lego Friends were created . Lego Friends have different Minifigs than City Lego sets . Every year Lego comes out with a certain number of new Minifigs in a surprise packet . Lego also makes a lot of expensive Minifigs out of gold . The most expensive Lego minifig is a 14k gold Boba Fett , a character from Star Wars
