My Territory !
Lions mark their territory by using their ferocious ROAR or by making scratch marks on tree bark . Not all lions mark their territory but they usually do . The male lions are always in charge of the pride for a lot of things like watching the pride while . the female is out looking for prey ( A pride is a group of lions .) Did you know ! Lions spray urine on the Savannah grass which is like saying my turf ! A long time ago lions lived in all parts of Africa . They usually live in the African Savanna where its hot and doesn ' t rain much . Lions need to know their territory very well to become good hunters . Some lions live in forests . Their colors help them camouflage from where they live .
