PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP with Anna Edell
Part 1 - Online Retail for Artists.
6 - 8 PM, Tuesday August 20th SOVA Classroom (upstairs)
This class will break down the anatomy of a website, how to approach
building your store, and the basics of shipping, taxes and analytics. It will
also compare the most popular e-commerce platforms available and how
to choose the one that will work best for you. Participants will be asked to
create an online store before the next workshop.
Part 2 - Marketing and Branding for Artists.
6 - 9 PM, Tuesday August 27th SOVA Classroom (upstairs)
Using your newly created online store as an example, this class will go
deeper into branding and marketing considerations including how to
develop a visual identity, effective product photography and copywriting,
and how to generate more sales through your site.
Anna Edell is a freelance Creative Director from Toronto specializing in
branding, web design and graphic design. She previously spent five years
as the Creative Director & Marketing Co-ordinator for Canadian skincare
brand Province Apothecary, where she was an integral part of the growth of
