Adventure Day Camp Coding Camp
Monday - Friday, 9 AM to 3 PM (Full Day Session)

Grades: Rising 5th-8th

Adventure Day Camp will explore fitness in a whole new light
through different, fun adventures including hiking, kayaking,
ropes courses, rock climbing and fishing. We will also focus on the
development of life skills so our campers are challenged physically
and mentally.
LEGO™ Mindstorms Robotics Competition
Monday - Friday, 9 AM to 3 PM (Full Day Session)
Session: July 22-26
Grades: Rising 5th-8th
Instructor: Wesley Diggs CPA FIRST LEGO League™ Instructor
Cost: Early Bird $250; after May 31 - $275
This camp focuses on building robots that find another robot and
push it out of a Sumo ring. Complex building and programming
skills are applied to create a robot that can autonomously defeat its
opponent. This is a fun and challenging camp made for students who
are ready to build and program.
Kindergarten Readiness Camp
Monday - Friday, 9 AM to 12 PM
Session: July 22-26
Grades: Rising Kindergartners
Instructor: Kate Laws, Instructor of Kindergartner
Cost: Early Bird - $175; After May 31 - $200
This camp is a great opportunity to help your student
transition from preschool to lower school. Students will
have a true “big school” experience. It is a wonderful
time for them to become comfortable in a kindergarten
classroom and meet some other new lions!
Summer Reading Book Club
Session: July 22-26
Rising 4th grade, Monday - Friday, 9 AM to 12 PM
Rising 5th grade, Monday - Friday, 1 to 4 PM
Instructor: Brenda Ferrell, LS Librarian
Cost: Early Bird - $175; After May 31 - $200
This interactive club will dive deep into a book from the
required summer reading list to discover setting, plot,
rising action, conflict, and the resolution of the story. By
the end of this camp, students will have the opportunity
to work on a fun, interactive book report which will bring
greater understanding to their summer assignment. The
fourth grade featured book with be Mrs. Frisby and
the Rats of NIMH, and the fifth grade book will be The
Vanderbeekers of 141st Street.
This STEAM camp will sharpen critical thinking skills by introducing
coding basics. Campers will use laptops, tablets, LEGOs and other
tech to create animations, build and program robots, and more!

Using the Dave Ramsey’s curriculum, students will be equipped on
how to avoid debt, budget with intention, invest early, and build
wealth so they can live generously.
