AN OPPORTUNITY TO BE TOGETHER! W.O.C. Annual Fall Meeting and Luncheon Tea September 22 WHAT WILL WE DO? WE’RE CHANGING A FEW THINGS THIS YEAR! Our priority and the most important thing we will do is to make contact with other women in our church and encourage them to be a part of this day. This is the one day each year for all of the women of our church to be together! We want everyone to have the sense that they belong to the whole. Doors will open at 9:30 for those who would like to come early for coffee, tea and fellowship. We will “SIT AT TABLES BY SURPRISE” and not with our Care Groups as we have done in past years. You can R.S.V.P. by yourself to be totally surprised by whom you sit with, or you can R.S.V.P. with one other woman and sit with a friend. (Our high school and middle school girls will still sit at their own tables.) Our menu will be yummy—chicken salad, spinach salad, fruit, scones, and other various goodies. Singing and music will be provided by our young women. We will have a panel discussion by women of varying ages on “Understanding Our Identity in Christ.” A pamphlet will be given out to each woman containing information about our Bible Studies and Circles along with information about service opportunities for all. Information will be announced about our upcoming Women’s Conference in 2019. PUT THIS DATE AND TIME ON YOUR CALENDAR! Our tables will be more casually set but just as beautiful! NURSERY MOMS TOGETHER BEGINS FRIDAY MORNING, SEPTEMBER 14 If you have a nursery-aged child through 5 years of age, you are invited to bring your child to the I.P.C. nursery from 9:00 until 11:30 a.m. on the second Friday of each month. You can leave your child to be lovingly cared for by women in the church while you enjoy some time away with other mothers in the church. Please email your reservation to Jane Boatright ([email protected]). MESSENGER SEPTEMBER 2018 PAGE 7
