After capturing the hearts of both their peers and judges,
HNHS showquest team was thrilled to see their performance
sweep the regional showquest competition, with unified
feelings of joy at this result only eclipsed by later news of
their 1st placing on a national level. HNHS’ showquest team
have since walked away with a plethora of well sought after
awards for best lighting, production, wardrobe, design and
performance at a regional level, as well as national awards
for performance skill, visual enhancement and theme.
Having helped to successfully solidify HNHS’s reputation
as a school widely known for its talent and proficiency in
the cultural dimension, the team have had a truly excellent
year - one that has proven that hard work, ambition, and
teamwork, are a sure-fire road to success.
To quote the HNHS showquest team’s signature chant,
“Raise that roof up to the sky, ‘cause our name is Havelock
High.”
