To be honest, when the program manager called me for the first time, I told him that I know nothing about sports, so I can’t be a sports presenter. Pics supplied I’m at home, I’m always watching sports…so ya! I think I’m passionate about sports because now I’m no longer interested in the news reading thing”. A radio station that Molebogeng would like to grow into from Voice of Tembisa is Thobela FM, mainly because she is Pedi and enjoys presenting in Sepedi. Apart from radio, she would also like to see her- self grow into SuperSport TV chan- nel. She is one lady who doesn’t have anyone in the radio sports presenting field who inspires her, instead, she likes all the television sports presenters, especially the ladies. Molebogeng’s favourite local football club is Kaizer Chiefs, and her favourite football player locally is Khama Billiat. Her favourite sport is rugby, but she has no specific favourite teams nor players. Internationally, Molebogeng’s favourite football team is Manchester City, and her favourite football players are Neymar Jr, Paul Pogba, Kylian Mbappe, Luka Modric. During the 2018 world cup, Molebogeng was rooting for all the African teams, but was disappointed when they were knocked out one-by-one. From her hometown, Bolobedu, there are no successful and famous people in sports. Molebogeng’s favourite athlete is Luvo Manyonga, because he inspires her and has been doing good in athletics. With regards to a person or people who she looks up to at VOT FM, Molebogeng says that she’s motivated by all the present- ers at the radio station because of their hard work and dedication. “I’m looking forward to being one of the greatest ladies in sports, and I’m looking forward to working hard in order to get there,” she concludes. 87.6 FM is VOT FM’s frequency. Stay tuned. OCTOBER | NOVEMBER 2018 ISSUE 33
