While at Kaya FM, he became a
producer for a sports show, then
later worked for the TV channel
ENCA as a sports writer and

Throughout his work in the sporting
world, Mosia encountered
interesting people and established
good relationships. One of those
individuals who got to be his
acquaintance was radio personality
Thabiso Tema who gave Mosia a
call when regional commercial radio
station Power FM was established.
He then joined the station and was
there as a sports presenter for five
years. It was in April 2018 when he
left the station for SABC’s SAFM.
“I feel like I’ve come full circle by
joining the SABC because this is
where my father was,” says Mosia.

Talking about his SAFM’s sports show called
Sport On, he says: “I want to grow the show
and align it with SAFM’s new mandate; on
the show we have features like “Careers in
Sports” and “Business of Sports” where we
talk to people about their different careers in
sports and find out why corporate
companies invest in sports so that we can
educate and inform our listeners.” Mosia
is also doing sports bulletin on SAFM’s drive
show Home Run with Ernest Pillay. At the
moment, he is not looking beyond the SABC
and wants to grow his brand on national radio.
