Wrestlers Face Off in Gregory

The Burke/Gregory Storm wrestlers traveled to Aisworth on Janurary 26 to compete in the Ainsworth Invite. The wrestlers had a successful day and placed 2nd as a team.
Mason Peck competed in the 120 lb weight class and lost two matches. In the 126 lb weight class was Mason Hood who won four matches and lost two to obtain 4th place. Gunnar Stephens competed in the 145 lb weight class and won one match but lost three.
In the 152 lb weight class was Frank Even who won two and lost two matches. In the same class was Dimitri Davis who lost two matches. Tucker Even competed in the 160 lb weight class where he won one match and lost two. In the 170 lb weight class was Taron Serr who won three matches and lost two.
The Burke/Gregory Storm wrestlers were in Gregory on the night of January 31 to face off against the Bon Homme/Scotland/Avon wrestling team. Wrestling at 126, Mason Peck lost to Jordan Rueb with a fall time of 0:26. In the 132 weight class, Mason Hood lost by major decision to Riley Hellmann with a score of 9-1.
In the 152 weight class, Frank Even pinned Marlon Husmann with a fall time of 0:56. Wrestling at 160, Finn Hanson pinned Stockten Walter with a fall time of 3:43. Wrestling at 182, Taron Serr took a victory over Dj Rueb with a fall time of 0:43. The Storm Wrestling team was able to snatch a victory overall with a score of 42-38.
Storm Wrestlers Compete on Home Mats

The Storm wrestlers competed in Burke on February 5 in a dual against Stanley County. The Burke/Gregory team won by a big margin with a score of 61-13.
Mason Hood, Mason Peck, and Dimitri Davis won by forfeit. In the 170 weight class, Finn Hanson defeated Reid Wieczorek. Taron Serr also won by forfeit.
Storm Wrestlers Compete in Parkston

The Burke/Gregory Storm wrestlers traveled to Parkston on February 12. The team had a mostly successful day and won the dual 57-21.
In the 113 weight class, Kort Schonebaum lost to Landon Sudbeck with a fall time of 0:58. Mason Peck and Mason Hood both won by forfeit. Wrestling at 152, Frank Even defeated Logan Heidinger with a fall time of 5:11.
In the 170 weight class, Finn Hanson pinned Jerimiah Kohler with a fall time of 0:38. Taron Serr won by forfeit.
