High School Track
The Cougar track season kicked off March 16 at the Corn Palace Indoor Invitational. The meet was held at the Dakota Wesleyan University Campus in Mitchell, SD.
The results are as follows:
Cooper Bailey- 5th, Austin Jensen- 7th in Shot Put; Ethan Delong- 2nd in 60 M Dash and 5th in Long Jump; Terrance Roubideaux- 7th in Long Jump; Taron Serr- 1st in 60 M Hurdles; Bridget Bartling- 8th in 60 M Dash; Caitlyn Dummer- 3rd; Sierra Swan- 5th in Shot Put; Elenna Koenig- 7th in High Jump; Lacey Person- 7th; Jolene Vaughn- 8th in 1600 M; and Kate Weborg- 8th in Long Jump, 7th in 200 M Dash, and 7th in 60 M Dash.
The Cougars went on to compete at the 2019 Scott Underwood Invitational on April 1 in Brookings, SD at the South Dakota State University track.

The Cougar Track and Field season continued on with the SSC Conference Meet held on April 2 at the Platte High School Track in Platte, SD.

The girls finished with a team ranking of 6th, while the boys finished with a team ranking of 4th.
