Ø an improvement in the quality and quantity of
Government information published, and its use by
citizens; and
Ø the establishment of a single national identity number
and identity card – presumptively using the current NIB
ID number – that will allow for ease in transacting
business in the public and private spheres of the
country.
We expect to finalize the details of this new project
early in the new fiscal year. The net result of this will be a
reduction in processes and paperwork and the means to
conduct government business more efficiently. Simply put,
as the private sector and the rest of the world is doing, we
will make use of technology to deliver public services
cheaper, faster and better.
