government bureaucracy; (ii) increasing the use of ICTs in
the public sector; and (iii) increasing transparency of
Government activities and strengthening auditing and
control mechanisms. The three principal components of the
project will focus on:
Ø Simplifying and digitizing government procedures;
Ø Strengthening institutional capacity for a digital
government; and
Ø Enhancing transparency and integrity in government.
As for results, the project is expected to lead to:
Ø a reduction in the time and cost of Government
procedures;
Ø an increase in the data shared and used across
Government offices for policy design and Government
management;
