ACADEMIC To be honest I don’t have a difficult class per se, I think the combination of different classes might be a bit of I believe that my hardest class this a challenge, but even then, it comes year right has been ABC because down to time management skills. I there is only a limited time to learn usually don’t get overwhelmed with certain topics and equations and a lot of homework at a time, because things like that. I haven’t done I have the strong will power to just Chemistry or Physics yet so it makes put exactly enough time to finish it challenging to learn fast when homework and study. No class is you do not have an idea on what to easy, I take each class seriously, that do in respect for that. The only subject that I could year I didn’t take a science class. probably do is biology and I enjoy - Christopher that subject. My easiest I have to say is the visual design class, I think it This summer the hardest class I have is pretty straight forward to learn is Algebra II. The way I’ve stepped everything and how to do certain up to the challenge is by asking for things just by messing around with help when I don’t understand the it for a while. I learned how to pho- material that we are going through. toshop in this class which I didn’t The class is really helping me it could be that simple to do and though because I’m learning some learned how to do certain effects of the material that I will be going to the picture. It’s not etry. I’m not a fan of shapes and actually very hard, I just may have angles. I just pay as much attention trouble with essays outside of class. as I can, well I try to pay attention So far I’ve focused and completed (I have ADHD). My easiest class is what I need to though. Easiest is athletics, mostly because I like to Anime obviously. Chinh you should play some sports. I’ve learned how know that. I’ve not learned all that to Photoshop pictures and all that much to be honest since we’ve only neat stuff. - Divina been through the basics so far. I have learned Scientific Notation which is good. That is all. - Antonio The hardest class I have this summer is Calculus. I think the challeng- ing part of this class is the pace. It is often really fast pace and really hard to catch on what is going on. I have stepped up the challenge by getting help from the RAs and my classmates. The easiest class would be College skills. We have learned about how to apply to colleges and important deadlines for federal money. - Herminia The hardest class I have in this pro- gram would have to be Algebra 2. I’ve stepped up to the challenge by asking questions, writing down and even taking pictures of the info that I feel is necessary for the test that we are going to take for his class. I usually never memorize anything for classes, especially algebra, but I’m going to try my best to mem- orize equations and functions that are going to help me in the future, but mainly for now. My easiest class would have to be this class, or Freshmen Research Topic. The rea- sons for that is because I’ve already explored the basic fields that are necessary. I also like designing (not on graphic, but I give it an excep- tion) and the mechanics for it are okay for me to understand what’s going on and what I need to do for some sort of design. I’ve learned a lot about Algebra, mainly because I’m going to be taking that class next year, and the equations have many more details (I was already told this and I actually believe those who told me). Chemistry has also taught me a lot (even if I don’t understand it now, I at least know what’s going on and understand most of it because of previous science classes) about certain things we didn’t cover in our old science (including IPC) classes. - Izabella
