2016 COMMUNITY TENNIS HIGHLIGHTS
SUMMER FUN TENNIS
USTA Hawaii organized free tennis clinics for 22 City & County of Honolulu
Summer Fun sites, introducing the sport to over 3500 kids at the public
parks. Our team of coaches included Robbie Char, Jordan Kakugawa, Kyle
Shimabukuro, Kristen Mock, Kashies Lee, and Peter Dungca.
SCHOOLS DAY AT THE TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS OF MAUI
100 children from Sacred Hearts School in Lahaina were bused
into the tournament site. The 5th and 6th graders were given
an opportunity to play tennis, watch professional tennis and
meet world-class tennis pros. A free pizza lunch and autograph/
photo session left smiling faces all around.
