In case of a winter weather event, please be mindful of fi re
hydrants in front of your home. As a precautionary measure, it
would be benefi cial for residents to clear away snow around fi re
hydrants in front of their home or on their street.

the weather changes. Make sure that your smoke alarms are
in good working condition and see if you need to install new

Post Lamps
Now that it’s becoming darker at an earlier time, all residents
are reminded that post lamps should be lit from dusk until
dawn.

In the wake of celebrating Halloween, we can now look forward
to winter holidays! Lights and colorful decorations are a major
component of the holiday season. Aft er you’ve celebrated, please be
mindful of the following rules related to holiday decorations:
*Exterior Lighting
Exterior lighting such as string lights, holiday lights, or other non-
permanent lighting (such as lamp posts) may only be temporarily
displayed for a holiday related event. Th ese temporary lights may
not remain displayed year-round and must be removed within 10
days aft er the holiday related to the light display.
*Holiday Displays
Plastic and infl atable holiday displays, ornaments placed in trees
and/or shrubs, or any other holiday decorations may not remain
displayed year-round and must be removed within 10 days aft er
the holiday related to the display.
